Automatic Transmission Pumps (A/T Pumps)
Automatic transmission oil pumps are used with the Trochocentric gearing system due to low pulsation and low noise behaviour.
Advantages
- high displacement using small gear set dimensions
- very low noise
- very low pulsation of the oil
Application
These oil pump systems are mainly used in automatic transmissions (A/T). They are used as torque converter oil pumps or they are used as auxiliary oil pumps.
